Safe working environments are a fundamental right and essential for all workers. Vehicle Banksman training provides individuals with the skills to direct and manage on-site traffic safely. The course also provides you with an understanding of the dangers of vehicles moving in working areas, and how to avoid incidents.
Vehicle Banksman training is for anyone who assists with manoeuvring, loading and unloading vehicles on-site as part of their job. It is an engaging course that teaches you how to guide traffic using a code of signals approved by HSE. You will learn to identify relevant legislation and guidance, correctly demonstrate approved signals, identify hazards associated with signalling operations, and explain why effective communication is needed between driver and banksman.
We hold all courses at one of our cooperating training centres. However, we can provide this training at your premises or on-site for larger groups.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
