We have trash pump hire available nationwide. Trash pumps are heavy duty dirty water pumps, capable of pumping away muddy water, sludge, sand, twigs, leaves and small stones from flooded areas on site. These industrial water pumps are tough and robust pieces of equipment, ideal for use on building sites for emptying out flooded areas such as foundations and trenches, as well as for emptying pools, ponds and drains.
Our trash pumps are petrol-powered centrifugal water pumps. They use the rotational energy of a motor to drive an impeller and create a flow of water - drawing it out of the area using a suction hose and away from the area via a layflat delivery hose.
These trash pumps have silicon carbide and ceramic mechanical seals, and an all round tubular steel frame with anti vibration rubber mounts that protect the trash pump from knocks and bumps, and the effects of vibration whilst in use.
You can book a trash pump hire online or over the phone and then either collect it from your local depot at the start of the hire or we can deliver it to you.
Please note: The maximum suction lift that our trash pumps are capable of is 8 metres, however 6 metres or less is recommended.
Please note: This product description and detail is based on the model we have the most stock of. Alternative brands of equivalent specification may be supplied based on location and availability.

Tried a Hoselock one from a friend in my water butt and decided to buy one myself. This one was half the price for the same power but didn't have the screw thread shown in the picture on the outlook connector. A 'Karcher tap adapter with reducer' fixed that. I've only had it for a few weeks but it's worked perfectly.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
