Our light duty petrol tillers are ideal for cultivating small plots of land such as small gardens, borders, flower beds, vegetable patches and allotments. These small tillers are easy to operate and they are ideal for DIY use at home or for more light commercial applications. These cultivators effectively turn the top soil to de-compact and aerate the soil. This creates the ideal ground for planting fresh seeds, crops and flowers, or laying turf.
These light duty Camon tillers feature strong and robust blades, powered by a petrol engine, which turn over and cultivate the soil as you walk along with the machine. These small rotavators are built to a high standard, with a heavy duty chain case, adjustable handlebars, individually replaceable tines with full width steel rubber mounted tine guards for operator protection and safety. They also feature a built-in lifting handle, a drag bar (used to control the depth and speed at which the tiller will dig into the ground) and a transport wheel that allows you to wheel the unit into position on the job.
You can book a light duty tiller / rotavator hire online or over the phone with our hire team. Once you have booked the tiller hire, you can collect the machine from your local store at the start of the hire or we can deliver it to you. We also have Personal Protection Packs available for purchase during checkout. These packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs.
Please note: Light duty tillers are unsuitable for tilling previously uncultivated ground. You will need a larger medium duty rotavator for this. The ground must be cleared of long grass and any objects such as stones or bricks which would damage the tiller, before you use the machine.
Please note: This product description and detail is based on the model we have the most stock of. Alternative brands of equivalent specification may be supplied based on location and availability.

We have large flower beds which needed some TLC so we hired this to get the soil back into shape. It was easy to use and worked the soil over nicely. Thank you very much.

We needed to hire a tiller for our allotment, so we booked a weekend tiller hire and split it with our friends on the allotment and shared it over the weekend. It was a bit of work but did the job great. I would use Mammoth Hire again. Good value for us, especially when splitting the hire charge with our friends.
