These electric routers are efficient power tools for rebating, grooving, recessing, and template cutting into worktop materials, such as wood, plastic, and more. They are robust and versatile tools that can be used onsite, in a workshop, or at home. These plunge routers are ideal for professional tradespeople, such as carpenters and shopfitter, as well as being suitable for DIY. They are easy to use and have a 6mm - 13mm collet capacity. There is an adjustable depth system, plus double insulation, a safety trigger, and a side fence to keep the user protected from the cutting mechanism. These routers also have a dust extraction feature which keeps the cutting line and work area clean. The soft-grip handles make them comfortable and easy to control while in use.
These plunge routers are capable of quickly and efficiently boring recesses into the wood, to create joints, to reshape, or to give the wood a high-quality pattern finish. They come supplied with a guide, 30mm guide bush, and a spanner. As these routers are 110v, you will need a transformer, generator, or 110v site supply to use them. We can supply 3kva transformers and extension leads, as well as straight double flute TCT router bits and worktop jigs. We also have Personal Protection Packs available for purchase, containing safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and earplugs. You can add these to your order during checkout. You can book a router hire online or over the phone and collect from your local store at the start of the hire, or we can deliver to you.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
