We have hydraulic Ridgid 258 power pipe cutter hire available nationwide. This Ridgid pipe cutter is a high-quality piece of equipment for professional standard pipe and tube cutting. It can cut through metal and galvanised pipe and rigid conduit between the diameter of 65mm - 200mm with ease. It is a displacement cutter which means it cuts through items by displacing rather than removing material. Displacement cutting means that there is no abrasive dust, dangerous sparks, or open flames during operation. It is a safe and practical form of cutting for quick and precise results and minimal burr. This Ridgid pipe cutter is ideal for preparing pipes for press fitting, roll grooving, threading, and other jobs that need accurate pipework. The hydraulic foot pump lowers the blade onto the surface of the pipe and can apply more pressure while you cut. The pump offers you exceptional control while you are working with the machine. The blade is individually powered by the Ridgid 700 Power Drive which is available separately. As the blade engages, it causes the pipe to turn on the roller bed, ensuring precise and consistent displacement cutting around the entire pipe. From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
