The 110v Power Scraper provides a quick and easy way of removing tiles from bathrooms and kitchens in hardly any time, with minimal effort. Power scrapers use a robust blade which hammers back and forth, getting beneath the edges of the tiles and breaking them from the adhesive. You don't need to apply much pressure to the machine as the scraper will do the work. These units provide a much more efficient and effective way of removing tiles than a traditional hammer and chisel. These machines speed up the process, meaning you will be able to start laying the new tiles sooner and complete the job quicker. When using a Power Scraper, ensure that you hold the machine with both hands, keeping in full control at all times. It is important to use the correct safety equipment while operating one of these power tools, including safety glasses, gloves, a dust mask and ear defenders. We can supply Personal Protection Packs, which give you safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and earplugs. You can add this to your order during checkout. It is important to take regular breaks from using the machine, to prevent the risk of injuries related to HAVS. Please note, as these units are 110v pieces of equipment, you will need a transformer, a generator or 110V site supply to use them. We can supply transformers and extension leads - you can add these to your order during checkout. You can book a power scraper hire online or over the phone and then collect from your local store at the start of the hire, or we can deliver to you.

We used this to take the old tiles off the walls of the bathroom and kitchen when we renovated and we had the job done in less than 2 hours and returned to the shop on the same day.

On first use, perfect for the jobs I had stacking up. Used the scraper blade to lift some stuck-down carpet (and I mean STUCK!), then the 35mm wood cutting blade to neatly slice some skirting in a very awkward spot. Build quality appears good, and it has replaceable motor brushes. For the price, I just cannot fault it.
