We have petrol powered hydraulic log splitter hire available nationwide. These wood splitters are capable of breaking logs and trunks up to 450mm in length and they are not limited to the width of logs that they can be used for. These powerful machines are very easy to use and they allow the operator to get through large amounts of logs quickly and efficiently.
Operating one of these log splitters is very simple. Just place the log on to the splitter bed, pull the lever, and the hydraulic arm lowers down and slices the splitting blade through the log, breaking it into two separate, equal pieces. Once the log has been split, the hydraulic arm automatically resets and the machine is ready to be used again. These wood splitters are powered by a reliable 6.5hp Honda GX200 engine and the hardened wedge features a double chamfer, for fast and effective log splitting. The hydraulic arm on these log splitters provides 10 tonnes of force and, with a full cycle time of under ten seconds, you can split large amounts of wood in no time at all with one of these machines.
Due to their large wheels, log splitters can be wheeled around a site and used wherever they are needed - from the back garden to the paddock beside the wood shed.
You can enquire online or over the phone with our hire team for a log splitter hire quote. Once you have booked a hire you can collect the machine from in store at the start of the hire, or we can deliver to you. We also have electric log splitter hire available.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
