Our 0.8T micro diggers are compact and powerful excavators. They are ideal for a range of projects, including excavating, ditching, grading, trenching, and more. Whether you are landscaping a garden or digging for pipe and cable installation, these micro diggers make the job much easier. They are also suitable for moving sand, earth, debris, and other building materials. These machines are perfect for working in small areas with tight access. They have retractable tracks that close down from 860mm - 900mm to 700mm - 770mm wide, so they are narrow enough to pass through most standard doorways, gates, and alleys. You can also fold the roll bar down to ensure that you can pass under low beams and work in rooms with low ceilings.
These mini diggers are designed to be easy to control so that even someone without any experience can use them effectively. They have simple levers for the hand controls and peddles for any function that is controlled by foot. The robust tracks allow you to easily handle uneven and challenging surfaces, including concrete, grass, soil, rocks, and gravel. When the tracks are fully extended during excavation, they offer incredible stability in the work field. All of the pipework for the attachment and boom cylinders are integrated into the boom to prevent damage during use. The boom cylinder itself is also mounted on top of the boom to ensure that it never comes into contact with any raised ground or obstacles. Despite their compact design, these micro diggers possess more than enough power to complete all kinds of jobs. They are also available with a choice of different bucket attachments.

Our 0.8T micro diggers can fit through most standard width doorways. They are compact excavators that allow you to access and work in areas with restricted floor space. Due to their small footprint, micro diggers can gain access through gates, corridors, and alleyways, where larger plant cannot.
Our micro diggers are extremely compact machines with a small working footprint. The tracks are adjustable between 700mm and 860mm widths, allowing access to areas with restricted space and stability during use. These excavators have a height of 2230mm, length of 2750mm, and weigh 980kg. These micro diggers offer a maximum dig depth of 1720mm.
First, read the instruction manual and any warning stickers that are present. Check the micro digger for any loose or damaged parts. Examine it for leaks, damaged cables, problems with the tracks, and other potential hazards. Make sure that the fuel tank is full, check the engine lubricant and coolant levels, and locate the fire extinguisher. Now you can climb into the operator’s seat. Inside the micro excavator, you will find an armrest and controls on the left hand side. This will be pushed up so that the entrance is clear. Once you are sat down, pull the armrest down and lock it into place. Next, fasten your seatbelt securely and look around the operator’s console. Find all of the gauges and controls that are available, and locate the ignition switch. The ignition switch can be a traditional key or digital keypad depending on the machine. They are usually on the right hand side or overhead. In the cab, there is a set of joysticks, levers, and pedals. The joysticks control the boom and bucket operation and rotate the cab to the left and the right. The levers control the drive tracks, the throttle, and the front blade. The pedals control the high speed option (if available) and the pivot function of the bucket. With the digger turned off, move each of the controls to get a feel for how they perform. Any movement of the controls will cause the machine to respond immediately, so it is best to be familiar with their motion before you start work.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
