The 13mm keyed chuck, a torque limiter, and variable speed adjustment, ensure effective and reliable drilling. Our light duty dry diamond core drills for hire are capable of drilling up to 13mm in steel, 30mm in timber, and 20mm in masonry. They have a dry diamond core bit capacity of 152mm. These rotary action diamond core drills are very versatile, and they are ideal for professionals and DIY users. They are suitable for completing a range of core drilling jobs at home and onsite. When you hire one of these light duty diamond core drills from us, it comes as standard with a chuck key, diamond core chuck adaptor, diamond core drift key, diamond core extension bar, and diamond core pilot drill.
We have a range of diamond core drill bits for hire alongside these light duty diamond core drills. We have 32mm, 52mm, 102mm, 127mm, and 152mm bit available. We also have 3kVA portable transformers, and 110V extension leads for hire if you do not have your own. These packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and earplugs.
Please note: Our light duty dry diamond core drills are 110v units, so a transformer will be required to use them with a domestic 240v power supply.

This is a really good quality diamond core drill for the hire rate. Cuts through brickwork easily for core holes and doesn't doesn't break the front of the bricks.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
