This fence post driver is a very simple but extremely efficient tool for driving a fence post into the ground. With one operator on each handle, the driver should be lifted two thirds of its own height above the fence post, and driven down on to the post. This should be repeated until the fence post is seated at a sufficient depth. The fence post drivers solid, robust design means that a lot more of the force you put into it goes down into the fence post compared to a sledge hammer, so the fence post driver offers a much more efficient way of driving a fence post into the ground. Weighing just 15.4kg, this fence post driver is very easy for two people to operate.

There isn't much I can say about this apart from it 'does what it says on the tin'. I hired it with a lump hammer and collected from your Brighton store after ordering them both online. The guys in the shop were nice and the ordering process was easy.

Banged in 2 dozen 2.6 metre 75-100mm deer posts yesterday.
Couldn't have done it without this excellent bit of kit although our muscles are aching today. Our local farmers use these which is what led us to hiring one ourselves. Trust me this does make banging the posts in a lot easier.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
