Our Karcher BR 47/35 escalator cleaners for hire are scrubber / dryers specifically designed for wet cleaning escalators and travellators whilst they are still moving.
These professional escalator cleaning units provide a fast, practical and extremely effective way of deep cleaning escalators and travellators.
Karcher BR 47/35 electric escalator cleaners feature twin contra-rotating brushes which can reach the outermost tread pattern and remove even the most ground-in bits of dirt. The specially designed spray nozzles coat the scrubbing brushes in a high-performance cleaning agent to clean the escalator or traveller completely. All loosened dirt and grime is then vacuumed into the 35 litre waste container by the four straight suction hoses and matching combs which get right into the grooves of the escalator to ensure complete vacuuming and prevent water from dripping into the escalator shaft.
These professional cleaning machines thoroughly scrub and dry the escalator in a single pass. Simply stand at the bottom of the escalator or at the start of the travellator with the Karcher BR 47/35 machine and as the escalator / travellator moves and passes through the unit, it is effectively cleaned by the escalator cleaning machine.

We have previously used the smaller version of this escalator cleaner and although it has always done the job we have wanted the fact this variation has a 35litre waste tank means we can be more efficient as we get more done on a single tank of clean water. Thank you very much.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
