We have electric floor planers / floor scarifiers for hire nationwide. These 110v units are tough, robust and effective floor planing machines designed for indoor use, or use in areas where a petrol-powered machine would not be safe or suitable. Whether you want to plane an old concrete floor to remove a tired and cracked top layer of concrete and reveal a fresh layer below; or whether you want to level the concrete floor, remove old finishes, marks and stains, or groove the floor, our 110v electric floor planers / floor scarifiers are perfect for the job.
Our electric floor planers are powerful and professional pieces of floor preparation equipment. They have a Quick Lift feature with a lever that raises and lowers the cutters on to the floor surface, and a Fine Adjust feature with a screw handle that allows you to set the cutting depth. A dust extraction port allows you to connect the floor scarifier to a dust extraction unit. This prevents huge amounts of concrete dust from being released into the air when you plane the floor, which would cause a huge mess and could seriously harm the health of the operator.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
