Our heavy duty hydraulic rotavators are powerful, professional, heavy duty tilling machines, designed for cultivating large areas of soil in preparation for the laying of turf or a fresh plantation of crops, vegetables or plants. They are ideal for professional contractors, gardeners, landscapers and grounds people working on large jobs.
These power driven rotavators feature a 13hp petrol engine and tines that are powered indepently of the wheel drive, so you can adjust the travel speed to the soil conditions. The tines work to break up and turn the earth - aerating the soil and creating the ideal ground for the planting of fresh seeds. These heavy-duty rotavators are extremely powerful, robust and stable - they are capable of tackling tough terrain and breaking up the most difficult soil, clay or sod. They have safety clutches which stop the tines and wheels instantly, and the tines automatically lock when reverse gear is engaged. This minimises health and safety risks, and helps to ensure that this powerful machine is also safe to use.
Rental is subject to a secure ID check and we will also require an additional deposit of £500. A charge for petrol fuel is not included. We do supply the machine with a full tank, and we will charge you for the amount you have used at the end of the hire, which will be deducted from your deposit. If you refuel the tank, there will be no additional costs.
