We have 18v cordless SDS hammer drill hire available nationwide. These drills are designed for drilling through tough materials that standard rotary drills aren't capable of tackling, such as concrete, brickwork and steel.

These SDS drills combine the rotary motion of a standard drill with a pulsating hammering motion. This hammering action is created by the SDS+ chuck and SDS+ drill bits - the drill bits feature indentations along their shaft that allow them to move backward and forward, powered by a hammering mechanism within the chuck. This delivers the hammering action very precisely and efficiently, for fast and effective drilling.

As these SDS hammer drills are cordless power tools, they offer the freedom to work away from a mains power supply, and allow you to reach awkward areas without the restriction of a power cable.

Our 18v cordless SDS drills come supplied with 2 batteries and a 240v charger. We have SDS+ drill bits available for purchase in a range of sizes. They feature a solid carbide tip with centring point and optimised flutes, and they offer fast drilling speeds through masonry and concrete. You can add these drill bits to your order during checkout. We can also supply HEPA Automatic Dust Extraction Units alongside these drills. These units fix to the drill and intercept the dust produced whilst drilling. We also have an optional 13mm three jaw chuck adaptor available as an accessory. This chuck can be fitted with standard drill bits and allows these SDS drills to be used as standard rotary drills, with the hammer function switched off. You must wear appropriate safety equipment whilst using a drill. We can supply Personal Protection Packs, which include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs.
