Perfect for both trade and DIY use, our 18V cordless power planers take away the hard work, to finish all kinds of woodwork jobs quickly, accurately and precisely. Whether you are resurfacing old beams, installing doors and windows, removing saw marks in ripped boards, shaping deck and fence post edges or shaving down the edges of cabinets and other furniture, these wood planers allow you to get the job done quicker, easier and more efficiently than manual planers. These 18V cordless power planers offer a planing depth per pass of 2mm, a planing width of 82mm, and a maximum rebate depth of 9mm. These units come supplied with two batteries and a charger, so you can work using one battery whilst charging the other. Then when the battery runs out of power, simply swap the batteries over. This means that there is no down time on the job!
You can book a cordless power planer hire online or over the phone and then collect from your local store at the start of the hire, or we can deliver to you. We can supply Personal Protection Packs, which include safety goggles, safety gloves, dust mask and ear plugs.
We also have 110v Electric Planer Hire available.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
