These 6kVA silenced diesel generators for hire are robust, reliable and mobile pieces of equipment, capable of performing to the highest standards on site to keep tools, lighting, appliances and other equipment powered up on site.
Our 6kVA silenced diesel generators are powered by a tough Yanmar diesel engine with direct injection. They provide over 15 hours of continuous running time at either 110V or 240V. As these generators are silenced models, the unit is fitted with an acoustic cabinet and a high efficiency exhaust silencer, while the engine fully complies with the latest noise regulations. Mounted on a heavy duty barrow frame with large wheels and handlebars, these 6kVA generators can be transported easily around a site and used wherever they are needed.
We follow up all online bookings with a call back to confirm documentation, complete a secure check of two forms of ID, and take a deposit of £500. Delivery to site and collection is provided for free. A charge for diesel fuel is not included. We do supply the machine with a full tank, and we will charge you for the amount you have used at the end of the hire, which will be deducted from your deposit. If you refuel the tank, there will be no additional costs.
Please note: You must not use a generator indoors. Using a generator indoors or in a confined space could cause fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. You should only use a generator in an area with suitable ventilation for the fumes exhausted by the generator.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
