We have 400mm wet/dry diamond core drills and stands for hire nationwide. These heavy duty pieces of core drilling equipment offer a powerful and effective solution for a range of core drilling jobs on site - whether you need to drill through concrete, brickwork, timber, steel, marble or masonry.
The 400mm Husqvarna wet/dry diamond core drill is a tough, robust and reliable piece of professional core drilling equipment, with a range of features that provide outstanding performance. The 3 speed motor, water cooled gearbox and LED load indicator help you to drill effectively at maximum pressure, so you have all the power needed for drilling into tough materials on site. This wet/dry diamond core drill also has Husqvarna’s Softstart feature, which starts the drill slowly and then increases the speed after two seconds. This ensures clean and efficient drilling and helps to protect the drill from overloading. This core drill also pulsates when it is becoming overloaded, in order to alert the user. If the load is not then reduced, the motor will shut off in order to protect the drill. A chuck key, chuck adaptor, drift key, and pilot drill all come included with the 400mm wet/dry diamond core drill.
The diamond core drill stand provides a strong and secure base from which you can carry out a range of precise and accurate core drilling jobs on site. Whether you need to drill into walls, floors or ceilings, at an angle of 90 degrees or down to 60 degrees, this drill stand offers the capability to get the job done to the highest standards. The integrated vacuum base allows you to connect a dust removal vacuum unit very easily - improving safety on site and reducing the mess created when drilling.
We have a range of diamond core drill bits available for hire with our wet/dry diamond core drills, as well as 3kVA portable transformers and 110V extension leads. We also have water pressure tanks and vacuum pumps available for hire, to assist with wet drilling. Please note: Our 400mm wet/dry diamond core drills are 110v units, so a transformer will be required in order to use them with a domestic 240v power supply.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
