We have 240v wallpaper steamer hire available nationwide. These electric wallpaper strippers make it easy to remove large amounts of wallpaper quickly and effortlessly. It also causes a lot less mess than manually removing wallpaper using hot water and a scraper. These steam wallpaper strippers have a 7 litre boiler unit that can provide up to 90 minutes of steam. The steam travels through the 4 metre hose to the large, stainless steel steam plate. You then you press up against the decorated surfaces. When you do this, the steam penetrates and saturates the wallpaper and the adhesive, softening it so that it can be scraped off easily. It is ideal for all types of wallpaper, whether it is standard, thick, embossed, or painted. These strippers can also effectively remove vinyl, foil, flock, woodchip, and more.
These 240v wallpaper steamers are lightweight and are easy to carry to different sites and transport in cars and vans. They also have an advanced anti-scald system, a long lasting heating element, ergonomic handle design, and a thermal cut out. The cut out feature engages when the water level is too low. They are suitable for both professional decorators and DIYers working on their home. Before using the wallpaper stripper, read the manual and ensure you are fully aware of how to use the machine. You must wear safety equipment, such as goggles and protective clothing while using the stripper, and never overreach with the steam plate. To allow for proper ventilation, keep windows and doors to the room open. Keep furniture, fittings, and floors covered to protect them from the moisture. It cost about the same to hire this as it would to buy a budget one but this seemed a lot more industrial and (unlike others I've used) held a decent amount of water, meaning it didn't need topping up every 5 minutes!

I used my own which had broken and i was so used to using my own and taking my time. This one was fantastic, no time wasting and was straight to the point, very quick and holds an amazing amount of water considering the size.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
