Our 150mm wet/dry diamond core drill and stand for hire offer a professional solution for a range of core drilling jobs on site. These professional pieces of core drilling equipment allow you to drill accurately and precisely into a range of tough materials, such as brick, concrete, masonry, marble and steel.
The Husqvarna wet/dry diamond core drill is powerful and robust. It has a range of high quality features which maximise performance, reliability and usability. These features include a water-cooled gearbox which improves durability and provides optimal drilling performance; and Softstart, which starts the drill slowly and increases the speed two seconds after you start drilling. This provides efficient and effective drilling, and protects the drill from overloading. This drill also pulsates when it is becoming overloaded, in order to alert the operator. If the load is not reduced then the motor will shut off to protect the drill.
The drill stand included in this deal is robust, reliable and well made. It holds the drill firmly in place and allows you to lower the drill at an appropriate speed, for the most accurate and precise core drilling. The diamond core drill rig allows for angled drilling, from 90 degrees to 60 degrees, and it can be used vertically or horizontally - so it can be set up to drill into walls, floors or ceilings. The integrated vacuum base allows you to connect the stand to a dust removal vacuum unit very easily. This improves safety on site and reduces mess created when drilling.
We supply the wet/dry diamond core drill along with a chuck key, chuck adaptor, drift key, and pilot drill. We have a range of diamond core drill bits available for hire, as well as water pressure tanks and vacuum pumps for wet drilling, 3kVA portable transformers and 110V extension leads. Please note: The 150mm wet/dry diamond core drills are 110v units, so a transformer will be required in order to use them with a domestic 240v power supply.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
