Our 1 man post hole borers are powerful augers for drilling post holes into the earth. They are efficient machines that are ideal for harsh, dense grounds. They quickly and effectively drill into the surface, creating a hole for inserting structural posts. They are perfect for installing fences, gates, railings, stakes, rods, and more. These hole borers are lightweight with a compact design, so they are easy to handle and transport. They are fitted with comfortable, multifunction handles that reduce the vibrations, for improved comfort. The vibration dampening frame and hip padding also ensure greater ease of use. These post-hole borers have a drill brake, which brings the auger to a halt as soon as the drill jams into the ground.
You can book a post hole auger hire online or over the phone, collect from your local store or we can deliver to you. We can supply a post hole borer hire with either a 150mm or 200mm earth auger bit. You can select the size you require using the dropdown selector above.
We have Personal Protection Packs available for purchase during checkout. These packs include safety goggles, safety gloves, a dust mask and earplugs.

I hired this from you for a one-off job because they are very expensive to buy and I wouldn't need to hire it again. the borer seemed good quality and was easy to start up. I only used it for 20 holes but I'm sure it would have ran all day if it needed to. Thank you.

From 1st April 2022, our suppliers will only fuel machines with white diesel. This is due to new government guidelines.
If you, as the hirer, refuel any equipment while it is in your possession, it must be with WHITE DIESEL.
YOU MUST NOT USE RED DIESEL IN HIRED MACHINES OR EQUIPMENT.
If you return a machine refuelled with rebated diesel, suppliers will have to remove and dispose of the fuel. They must also flush the tank and supply lines before they can refuel them. The process is chargeable, with no exceptions.
An insurance charge will be calculated at checkout. If you have proof of your own Hired-In Plant Insurance (HIPI) and wish to opt-out of the insurance charge, you can do so by booking via Live Chat.
