We have medium duty breakers that are ideal for domestic work, such as breaking up concrete and brick walls, patios, and paving stones. We also have compact needle guns and power scrapers available for smaller scale interior renovation and DIY, such as removing tiles, plaster, and mortar. They are perfect for working in kitchens, bathrooms, gardens, and other areas of the house.

You can book your concrete breaker hire online or over the phone and add any transformers, extension leads, chisels, and points that you need before you check out. Our equipment is available to collect from your local store, or we can deliver it to you directly.

How do you use a concrete breaker?

Read the manual for your tool, insert the correct bit or chisel for the material you're working with, position the tool 8 inches from the edge, pick the hammer up in an upright position and stand behind it with your feet positioned each side and tilt it towards you with the chisel facing away. Apply a little pressure and gently squeeze the trigger, when the concrete is broken, stop the tool and remove the concrete. Simply repeat until the concrete is broken. Ensure PPE is worn, such as safety boots, tough gloves, and a pair of impact resistant safety goggles.
