Towers & platforms for working at height

We have an access tower range, for both trade and DIY users. Our catalogue includes alloy scaffolds, BoSS towers and GRP towers in a range of height, width and length dimensions. We also have MiTowers, stair scaffold towers, MiStairs, and more - available to suit every application and allow for working at heights safely. Our towers are all industry standard, safe, reliable and easy to assemble pieces of access equipment.

Our aluminium towers are available in ‘standard width (1.45m)’ and ‘narrow width (0.93m)’, and with a choice of either a 2.5m or 1.8m long platform. This gives you the option of having a tower with plenty of space for workers and equipment, or a tower that is compact enough to use in tighter spaces. We have a great range of heights available for each platform, from 2.2m to 13.2m. Our GRP towers are also available with standard width and double width platforms, with heights between 3.2m and 12.2m available.

Our scaffolding is easy to erect, extremely robust, and they ensure you can work at height safely. Most towers have colour coded bracing to assist quick and easy assembly and feature 3T (Through The Trapdoor) for safe and secure access. MiTowers are designed to be erected by one person in under 10 minutes, without the need for any tools.

Can anyone use a scaffold tower?

To erect, dismantle and work on scaffolding you must be trained and competent. You can find a variety of training courses you require on our website.

What is the working height of a scaffold tower?

The working height is the highest point you can reach safely from the tower platform. Our towers are measured up to their top handrail, and the working height is 1 metre above that. You can reach up and work overhead at the height of 1m above the handrail

Can you put a ladder on a scaffold tower?

No, you can’t put a ladder on a scaffold tower, ladders are designed to be used from the ground and thus are not suitable to be used from a platform at height. Doing so could cause serious injury.

Do I need to wear a harness on scaffolding?

Industry guidance requires scaffolders to wear and use a fall arrest harness when more than 4m above ground without a safe platform to stand on and edge protection in place.

Do the scaffold towers have an integrated ladder system?

Our scaffold towers have an integrated ladder system which allows access to the platform, so you do not need to hire a ladder separately.
